Lauren's corner Apart from spelling Teresa Holts name wrong and my grammatical mistakes, I would say that last week’s newsletter went rather well. The shop has been busy this past week, our Motocaddy offer of £50 cash back when you trade-in your old electric trolley has certainly brought the crowds in! This is a great offer by Motocaddy and if you’re thinking of upgrading your trolley, now would be the time to do so. I’ve been lucky enough to play two rounds of golf this week. My first game was The Murray Bowl Stableford. I had the pleasure of meeting Caitlin Evans – Brand. What a fantastic golfer, and a lovely girl too. She had 38 points shooting 73 gross; we won’t talk about my score. Congratulations to Teresa Holt on winning The Murray Rose Bowl with 39 points. Monday, I played at Royal North Devon in the Closed Course Trophy as a fully fledged Yelverton Lady. Thank you to Mair, our Lady Captain, for inviting me to play. Even though we didn’t bring the trophy home, we had fun trying! |
